Wear low-top safety shoes and you'll be completely free to move!

Wearing low-top safety shoes does not mean renouncing to safety, as a matter of fact the three main characteristics of low-top safety footwear are safety, comfort and lightness.

Low-top workshoes not only comply with all the safety regulations in force, but they are also very similar to the training shoes usualyy worn in the free-time. In fact, many models are more similar to a pair of sneakers than to the traditional safety shoes that one could buy years ago.

Characteristics of low-top safety shoes

Updated on 11/12/2018 by Petra V.

By and large, safety shoes have been under a quite fast evolution process in the latest years, becoming more and more light-weight, flexible and comfortable. Originally very heavy, bulky and rigid, work shoes gradually changed in such a way to become more similar to sneakers than to the safety shoes that first appeared on the market, both in the shape and in the design.

Brands, which started working in the sport field like Lotto Works and Diadora Utility, made safety shoes their best-selling product line and their leading models (respectively Flex Evo and Glove II) have become real reference point in the manufacturing of work footwear.

Being low-top does not make these shoes unsafe, in fact they fully comply with the safety regulations in force, without quitting comfort and fashionable appearance.
